List of Inclusive Heathen Groups in Canada

So I am in a bit of a mood over this... My kindred in the last 2 years has been making an extra effort to promote inclusive heathenry in our province, the reason being was that I noted that it was easier to find Folkish groups than anything else when you Googled our province and the word “heathenry.” As such we did note that the Wikipedia page for Heathenry in Canada appeared high in the search results and we were sure to link ourselves and other inclusive heathen groups locally onto that page. (As plenty of other kindreds and groups had already done.) Unfortunately, due to the nature of it being a small, decentralized religion most groups organize using Facebook, and Wikipedia is starting to take a hard line of Facebook page links as being uncredible. (Which I get for things like scientific information, but not religion…) In any case, a massive overhaul of the Heathenry in Canada page has occurred, removing a huge number of external links. In addition, anything that any potential editor has tried to add recently has been reverted as being an “un-notable addition.” This is problematic since heathenry in Canada is so small and sourcing anything that is added to Wikipedia’s standards, if followed to the letter, is just not possible.
As such, I am taking matters into my own hands and trying to collect inclusive heathen groups from Canada here, in hopes that those links won’t be lost entirely. Now, some of those links were dead, and needed to be removed, and some groups I don’t know much about. I have painstakingly tried to find you if you were previously linked on the Wikipedia page, even if your links were dead. I have cross-referenced with Declaration 127, the Declaration of Deeds, and The Canadian Pagan Declaration of Intolerance if your inclusivity was not stated on your page or group and I (or other heathens I know) didn’t know of you. I am still just one person so I may have made some mistakes. If your group is Canadian and inclusive, please email me a bit about your group and your link(s) and I will link you onto this post. I don’t guarantee how fast this will happen, because this blog is just a side project for me. My email is:

That said, this list is going to be fairly honour-system because if I don’t know your group I have very little way of knowing if you are as inclusive as you say. That is also a viewer-discretion notice to anyone using this list to find groups near them. Use common sense. Insist on public meeting spaces until you are comfortable with the people you meet, and if it doesn’t feel right for you, move on. There are lots of groups out there, or you can create your own by reaching out in one of the larger regional groups or local pagan groups to try to connect with people in your area. Often times you will find if you build a group, people will appear, who may not have been interested in organizing, but definitely would like to participate.
